Over the span of three decades in nursing and caregiving, my career has been a journey devoted to providing compassionate care for the elderly and disabled. It all started at the age of 14, working in residential homes, and progressed as I trained and worked as a Registered General Nurse (RGN). Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with various healthcare agencies and nursing homes, gaining valuable insights and honing my skills along the way. Despite the challenges of balancing work and family life, including pursuing a degree in BSc Health Studies, my commitment to nursing and elderly care has remained unwavering.

My passion for holistic health practices has led me to explore complementary therapies alongside traditional medical approaches. This holistic perspective informs my caregiving approach, allowing me to provide comprehensive support for the well-being of those under my care.

Beyond nursing, I've also ventured into the retail sector, where I've continued to uphold the values of empathy and exceptional customer service. My experience in roles such as customer service, operations, and foot care assistance has further enriched my skillset and broadened my understanding of patient needs.

Orthotics became a pivotal part of my journey when I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, an ailment I had never encountered, even as a nurse. Little did I know that this experience would mark the beginning of a profound understanding of their importance. Later, facing an autoimmune disease and requiring hip surgery, orthotics played a transformative role in my recovery. They not only assisted in realigning my body but also became instrumental in alleviating pain caused by over-compensation. Through personal experience, I've witnessed first hand the significant impact orthotics can have on overall well-being, motivating me to incorporate them into my practice and share their benefits with others.
